Dr A K Saini holds a PhD from NIT Kurukshetra and has a rich experience of more than 25 years in the areas of Teaching, Administration, R & D and Team Management in the Education Sector. His research interests include Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition, Artificial Intelligence, Affective Computing, Deep Learning, and Multimodal Intelligence.

Designing of an Application Specific Instruction Set Processor (ASIP) for Parametric Hindi Text-to-Speech Synthesis
2003M.Tech. dissertation under Dr. Chandra Shekhar, Director, CEERI, Pilani. ASIP is designed for Hindi Text-to-Speech conversion.
Optimization of the control-words/Micro-codes of the ASIP for gate count
2003Optimization using mixed mode type of implementation (RTL level coding in VHDL).
Testing and Verification of all the functional units of the Application Specific Instruction Set processor (ASIP)
2004Exhaustive Testing and verification using comparative verification method.
